The 100,000 Opportunities Initiative is a coalition of private sector employers, and nonprofit partners dedicated to employing young people, ages 16-24, who are out of school or unemployed. Launched in 2015, the Initiative works to connect young people with jobs, apprenticeships, and internships while helping the businesses build their talent pipelines so they can thrive. After surpassing its goal of connecting 100,000 young people with opportunities and under new leadership, the Initiative was in search of a new name, logo, tagline, and brand identity.

We worked through several concepts to create a new organizational logo that captured HOC’s role as a multiplier and connector of young people with career opportunities. We developed a style guide to formalize HOC’s new brand identity and to ensure a clean and cohesive look and feel across all brand collateral.
For HOC’s “20 for 20” campaign, a drive to make connections among 20 organization in 2020, Hatcher created an attractive one-pager and accompanying social media graphics.
For HOC’s “20 for 20” campaign, a drive to make connections among 20 organization in 2020, Hatcher created an attractive one-pager and accompanying social media graphics.
Hatcher redesigned HOC’s website as a custom WordPress site that serves as a go-to resource for partners, funders, and young people.
Hatcher researched the best platforms for reaching human resources professionals in targeted industries and placed newsletter ads that announced the organizational rebranding and drove traffic to the new website.
We developed a custom PowerPoint template for HOC staff members and partners to use in presentations.
Hatcher provided the Hire Opportunity Coalition with a new name, tagline, and brand look and feel. But the best rebranding is about more than words and imagery — it’s about helping organizations ask key questions about themselves and their missions and then discover the answers. We were honored to help position HOC for its next chapter.
