Education
Our education experts firmly believe in access in classrooms from local to national levels. Raising strong learners – whose curiosity is stoked by their educators’ enthusiasm and resources – is personal to us as former teachers, journalists, and advocates. We create campaigns that champion access to and delivery of education, social emotional learning (SEL), after-school and summer learning, and workforce training, always striving towards opportunities for all students.
Environment
Hatcher works alongside changemakers to ensure a thriving planet for future generations. Our environment team is inspired by our clients’ efforts to fight climate change, clean up waterways, limit toxic chemicals, conserve wildlife, and advance clean energy. At its heart, our work ensures everyone has access to safe water to drink, clean air to breathe, and open spaces to enjoy. With the Chesapeake Bay in our own backyard, our local passion informs our national expertise as we strive to promote the environmental programs, projects, and policies that keep our communities healthy.
Community and Opportunity
Hatcher is deeply committed to incorporating community and opportunity for all into our work – and our world. In everything we do, we lift up the efforts that create just spaces. We fight alongside our clients for community-related initiatives like supporting tax credits for working families, tackling food insecurity, and increasing voting access. We raise those voices that help everyone be heard.
Public Health
Hatcher creates connections in communities that build a healthy, strong society. We champion efforts that put people on the road to recovery from substance use disorders, decrease stigma, and raise awareness of behavioral and mental health services. Our campaigns improve access to low-cost, high-quality health care and advance the well-being of communities. We value the populations that need specialized care and robust resources, supporting our veterans, the elderly, young children, and those who need help being seen and served.
Government
Hatcher partners with local, state, and federal agencies to advance mission-driven priorities and programs, supporting advancements within the Education, Environment, Community & Opportunity, and Public Health arenas. Our team is devoted to public service and assisting our government at all levels to develop and promote strong policies that benefit communities nationwide in a just manner.
