Mary Warlow Bushel

As a director at The Hatcher Group, Mary works with a range of clients, including Humanim, MANSEF, the Annie E. Casey Foundation and the Green and Healthy Homes Initiative. She brings with her 13 years of experience in nonprofits, with a focus on education and community development.

Before joining The Hatcher Group, Mary worked at Enterprise Community Partners, where she managed internal communications. She also worked on content development and distribution for several departments, ranging from white papers and issue briefs to feature writing for newsletters and annual reports. Prior to Enterprise, she worked at Belair-Edison Neighborhoods, Inc., a community development corporation in Northeast Baltimore. There, she managed communications and programs, including housing counseling, financial literacy and community engagement.

Mary graduated from the University of Virginia with a bachelor’s degree in history. She received a master’s degree in writing from Towson University.
